The Israel Defense Forces says a number of rockets were fired from Lebanon at an army position on the northern border, close to the community of Malika.

One projectile was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, while the rest landed in open areas, the IDF says.

The IDF adds that it also struck a number of Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon in response to earlier attacks on northern Israel.
