The IDF says it has “control over the situation” after Iran launched at least 100 drones at Israel.
Israeli Air Force fighter jets have been shooting down the drones outside Israel’s borders, and so far, none have reached the country.
Meanwhile, the Home Front Command issued an update telling civilians that they no longer need to remain close to bomb shelters; however, restrictions on gatherings remain in place.
While the IDF says it has control over the drone attack, it has not yet confirmed shooting all of them down.
The Home Front Command will issue further updates should additional threats be heading toward Israel from Iran.
Additionally, the IDF says the Home Front Command’s decision to sound sirens nationwide at 3 a.m. was based on the assessment that Iran would immediately respond to Israel’s strikes, which ultimately did not happen.
