A Hamas commander responsible for training the terror group’s elite Nukhba Force ahead of the October 7, 2023, onslaught was killed in an overnight strike in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF says.

According to the military, Fadi Falah Ashour Daghmash served as a commander in the training department of Hamas’s military wing, overseeing various training programs, particularly for the Nukhba Force in the years leading up to the October 7 massacre.

The IDF says Daghmash also helped direct combat against troops during the war and, in recent months, had worked to advance additional attack plans and restore Hamas’s operational capabilities.

“The terrorist posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip,” the military adds.
