IDF says soldier seriously injured in Jaffa terror attack on Tuesday evening

A female IDF soldier was seriously injured in the shooting and stabbing terror attack in Jaffa on Tuesday evening, the military says.

Seven people were killed in the attack and at least eight others were wounded, when two terrorists — one armed with a rifle and the other with a knife — attacked civilians on the Tel Aviv light rail before getting off and continuing on foot and shooting and stabbing people on Jerusalem Street in the city.

The soldier was taken from the scene of the attack to a hospital for medical treatment and her family was informed, the IDF says.
