IDF tells Rafah residents to stay indoors as search for missing soldier continues
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF tells residents in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, to stay indoors as troops continue search for missing soldier 2nd-Lt. Hadar Goldin, who was captured this morning by Hamas gunmen near the border town with Egypt. Two soldiers were killed in the attack.
Sources in Gaza tell Israel Radio that the military is expanding operations in the area backed up by tank fire and air strikes.
