In year-end summary, IDF says it struck some 20,900 targets across all fronts in 2025

The IDF releases a year-end summary of its operations in 2025, outlining extensive military activity across multiple fronts, including Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank, Iran and Yemen.

According to the report, the IDF mobilized some 307,000 reservists during the year and carried out about 430 operations across all fronts, striking approximately 20,900 targets. Naval forces logged around 130,000 sea hours and conducted 50 maritime strikes.

In the Gaza Strip, the military says nearly 14,000 terror targets were hit, including weapons depots and command facilities. Dozens of senior Hamas commanders were eliminated, among them brigade, battalion and company-level leaders. In Lebanon, the IDF reported killing around 380 Hezbollah operatives and striking nearly 1,000 targets, while documenting some 1,920 ceasefire violations by the terror group.

In the Central Command, which is responsible for the West Bank and other areas of central Israel, the army says it killed roughly 230 terrorists, arrested about 7,400 suspects – including nearly 1,200 Hamas operatives – and seized more than 1,300 weapons, alongside millions of shekels in terror funds. Thirty terror suspects’ homes were demolished, with a total of 80 brigade-level operations conducted.

The report also details Israeli operations further afield, including strikes in Iran, where the IDF says dozens of senior regime figures and 11 nuclear scientists were killed as part of Operation “Rising Lion,” and in Yemen, where senior Houthi military and government officials were targeted in air operations.

On the home front, the military highlights expanded civil defense measures, including the deployment of 1,500 mobile bomb shelters, renovation of 200 public shelters and handling of more than 1.5 million calls to the Home Front Command emergency hotline.

The IDF also reports 91 fallen soldiers from “war-related circumstances” during the year, 821 wounded soldiers, and significant investments in medical evacuation, mental health care, training and logistics as fighting continued on multiple fronts.
