From Katz, Zamir to attend security meeting convened by Netanyahu this evening

Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir will both attend a wider security meeting this evening convened by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister’s Office tells The Times of Israel.
Katz and Zamir have been engaged in a public feud over the military’s October 7 investigations. Netanyahu met separately on Tuesday with Katz and with Zamir in an effort to de-escalate tensions. While reports on Monday said Netanyahu had intended to summon both senior officials for a meeting, he eventually opted to first meet Katz alone, and then sit down alone with Zamir.
