Members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, in a closed session, receive an operational intelligence review of Operation Roaring Lion. The committee members, who are required to sign a confidentiality form, hear about preparations for the campaign, the current situational assessment, and readiness for continued operations as well as a briefing from representatives of the IDF Homefront Command.

The committee unanimously approves the government’s request to authorize the declaration of a Special Situation on the Home Front until March 12, 2026, as well as “an expansion under Section 8 of the ‘Registration and Mobilization of Equipment for the IDF Law,’ which addresses types of vehicles/equipment eligible for mobilization,” the Knesset states.
