Labor MK Daniel Atar elected KKL-JNF head
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLabor MK Daniel Atar has been elected head of the Jewish National Fund, pushing out longtime leader Efi Stenzler, according to media reports.
Atar also beat out Michael Biton, mayor of the town of Yeruham, in voting Monday for leadership of the powerful nongovernmental organization — famous for its blue charity boxes.
Nachman Shai, a former Labor MK, dropped out of the race late Sunday.
