Prime Minister Yair Lapid has invited Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu for a security briefing on Sunday, the prime minister’s office says.

According to Channel 12 news, Netanyahu has agreed to the meeting. Army Radio, however, says he has yet to respond.

The two have been divided over how the opposition leader will receive updates on Israel’s security situations, with Netanyahu apparently reluctant to be photographed receiving a briefing from Lapid.
