Lapid vows to protect hospital staff after more violence against medical workers
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Yair Lapid vows to protect hospital workers after a caregiver was beaten unconscious by a patient at Rambam hospital in Haifa.
The attack is the latest in a series of violent assaults against medical staff in recent months.
“We can’t ignore the cry from the medical teams, who face unconscionable violence in hospitals and clinics,” Lapid tweets.
“We will support them and advance any proposal meant to protect the medical teams, exactly as they protect us.”
