Lebanon’s Health Ministry says 31 people were killed and 149 wounded in IDF strikes in the country’s south and Beirut’s southern Dahiyeh district, both of which are Hezbollah strongholds.
The numbers do not differentiate between Hezbollah operatives and civilians.
The IDF confirmed attacking Hezbollah targets in response to the Iranian proxy group’s rocket barrage on northern Israel overnight, the first such attack from Lebanon since the November 2024 Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire agreement.
