Man overpowered on Lufthansa flight after interfering with door

Lufthansa crew and passengers Sunday overpowered and restrained a man who had interfered with the controls of a cabin door on a Frankfurt-Belgrade flight, the German carrier says.

“A passenger got up and tried to do something at the door, but was stopped by crew members and other passengers,” says airline spokesman Andreas Bartels, stressing that it was not the cockpit door.

“The passenger was then restrained for the remainder of the flight in his seat and handed over to the authorities in Belgrade.”
