Many #Gazaunderattack pics not authentic
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn investigation by the BBC finds that many images being shared on social media with the hashtag #Gazaunderattack, claiming to show current Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, are not from 2014 and are in many cases are not from the Palestinian enclave.
According to #BBCtrending, some of the images being shared “date as far back as 2009 and others are from conflicts in Syria and Iraq.”
