More than 400,000 Gazans flee homes — UN

The United Nations says that more than 423,000 people had already fled their homes in Gaza, even before Israel’s directive to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip came through Friday.

The IDF notified the United Nations at midnight on Friday that the entire Palestinian population north of Wadi Gaza should relocate to southern Gaza within 24 hours.

The message indicated that the IDF could be readying to launch a ground invasion after a week of aerial bombardment in response to the massive Hamas onslaught last Saturday.

Hamas terrorists killed 1,300 people, a majority of them civilians.
