Netanyahu speaks to French president about Lebanon, Iran
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks on the phone with French President Emmanuel Macron, who updates him on talks he’s been having about the conflict in Lebanon, according to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the conversation — which the PMO said lasted half an hour and came at Macron’s request — the two men decided they would speak again in the coming days and meet in Paris next month.
“Netanyahu and Macron also spoke about the nuclear deal with Iran, Iran’s efforts to establish itself and Syria, and its [other] actions in the region,” the PMO says.
