Prime Minister Naftali Bennett speaks at a Memorial Day ceremony on Mount Herzl, using the opportunity to stress the importance of national unity, as he did last night.
“Our people yearn for unity,” he says.
“Now more than ever, we are required to strengthen the fabric that weaves us all into one nation and must prove that it is possible to act together not only on the battlefields, but in the living spaces.”
“Unity is the foundation of our power.”
