PA slams ‘mock’ Azaria trial, calls it a ‘farce’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Palestinian Authority’s foreign ministry slams the Azaria “mock” trial, calling it a “farce,” the official Wafa news agency reports.
The statement alleges that “Israeli top state officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister, and other Israeli nongovernmental organizations have raised funds in favor of a campaign that calls for Azaria’s acquittal,” according to the report.
“The ministry added that not only Azaria ought to stand trial, but also the entire Israeli regime for allowing the killing of Palestinians,” Wafa reports.
