Pakistan PM says efforts ongoing to reach US-Iran ceasefire agreement after failed weekend talks
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that the two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran is “holding” and that efforts are underway to reach an agreement after weekend talks failed to do so.
“The ceasefire is still holding and, as I speak, full efforts are underway to resolve the outstanding issues,” Sharif tells a cabinet meeting in brief televised remarks.
