Peace Now: Population growth rate in settlements well ahead of national average

There are now 427,800 Israeli settlers living in the West Bank, according to the Peace Now anti-settlement group.

Citing Central Bureau of Statistics data, Peace Now says population growth in settlements stood at 3.5 percent last year, far outpacing the national average of 1.9%.

The group says settlers account for 4.77% of the Israeli population and 14% of the population in the West Bank.
