PM: UN should push for direct peace talks
He calls on the UN to help push for direct negotiations, says imposed solution won’t help.
Addressing Abbas: “We owe it to our peoples to try. To continue to try.”
“We can do remarkable things for our people,” he says.
At the same time, Netanyahu says the UN should finally rid itself of the obsessive bashing of Israel. To wit, he points out that the UN passed 20 resolutions against Israel and just one against Syria, where over 250,000 have died in nearly five years of civil war.
