Police officer seriously wounded in Hadera attack regains consciousness

Yehezkel Tomer Ben Or, 51, a police officer from the southern town of Meitar who was seriously wounded in the shooting attack in Hadera on Sunday, has regained consciousness at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, the hospital says.

Four others remain hospitalized: One in moderate condition, and three in mild condition.

On Sunday, two police officers were killed in a shooting attack in Hadera. The Arab Israeli gunmen were affiliated with the Islamic State jihadist group.
