Policewoman gravely hurt in Jerusalem stabbing shows improvement

The policewoman seriously wounded two weeks ago in an attack in Jerusalem is showing signs of improvement, Shaare Zedek hospital says.

The 38-year-old cop was stabbed in the neck as she and a 45-year-old male colleague were on patrol outside Jerusalem’s Old City. The second officer suffered moderate stab wounds to his upper body but managed to shoot the attacker.

The woman is now conscious and breathing without the aid of a respirator, Ynet reports. She is still in intensive care, however.
