Report: Security cabinet approved ground op that will be limited in both time and scope
After the IDF said in announcing its recently launched ground incursion into southern Lebanon that the operation was authorized by the political echelon, the Axios news site reports that the approval was given by the security cabinet in its late Monday night meeting.
The operation was approved by the security cabinet is limited in both time and scope and is not intended to occupy southern Lebanon, two Israeli officials tell Axios.
