On his last full day as president of Israel, Reuven Rivlin sums up seven years in office.

During his term, Rivlin issued 1797 pardons, according to his office. He also took 131 overseas trips, which included 33 state visits. He swore in 454 judges and received diplomatic credentials from 168 ambassadors.

Approximately 130,000 visitors took guided tours of the President’s Residence while Rivlin has been in office. There he met 79 times with the presidents of nations, 41 times with prime ministers and seven times with visiting royal family members.

In just seven years, Rivlin was entrusted eight times with tasking a candidate to form a government coalition after five separate elections — once in 2015, three times in 2018, twice in 2020 and twice in 2021.
