Romania shoots down second drone breaching its airspace, defense ministry says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleRomania’s defense ministry says a second drone breaching national airspace in as many days was shot down by a pilot in an F-16 fighter jet in an uninhabited area near the border with Ukraine.
The first drone, which Romanian prosecutors investigating the fragments said was Russian, was shot down by the NATO state yesterday, marking the first time it has done so after dozens of airspace breaches.
