Russia says it identified groups behind plane explosion in Sinai
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe head of Russia’s Federal Security Service, Alexander Bortnikov, says Russia identified groups behind the explosion of a Russian plane in Egypt.
The jihadist Islamic State group has said it smuggled a bomb onto the Russian jet on October 31, which blew up killing all 224 people on board.
On November 17, Moscow said an investigation had found that the plane which took off from the Sinai resort of Sharm el-Sheikh was brought down by a bomb on board, a view shared by aviation experts.
