Justice Minister Gideon Sa’ar lambastes United Torah Judaism MK Yitzhak Pindrus for saying his dream is to “blow up” the Supreme Court, in comments caught on camera.

Sa’ar says Pindrus’s comments were “beyond grievous” and “express a desire — a ‘dream’ in his view, a nightmare in mine — for a nation without an independent judicial system.”

Pindrus, meanwhile, tells Walla news he does not regret his comments.

“The Supreme Court should be brought down,” he says. “It’s an institution that gets in the way.”
