Israel and Hamas have overcome most of the contentious issues in the negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, including the key issue of the “keys” — referring to the number of Palestinian prisoners to be released in exchange for the hostages, Saudi channel Al-Hadath reports.

According to the report, Israel has offered to release 125 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,100 prisoners who were arrested after October 7, 2023 — a proposal that is expected to be accepted.
