South Korea condemns attack on cargo ship, vows to respond
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSouth Korea’s presidential Blue House condemns in the strongest terms an attack against a cargo ship operated by a Korean shipper this month in the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran is blocking, and says it plans to respond once the source of the attack is identified.
South Korean experts have conducted an initial forensics investigation of the damage to the left rear of the ship, a senior Blue House official tells reporters. The attack had led to a fire in the vessel’s engine room.
