From Tehran Jewish community warns members to stay away from synagogue amid protests

The small Jewish community in Tehran has sent out a letter to members warning them to stay away from synagogues in the upcoming days due to the widespread protests sweeping Iran, Israel’s Kan public broadcaster reports.
The call comes just days ahead of the Jewish New Year.
Iran has been hit by protests following the death in custody of a young woman arrested by the “morality police.”
