Top US general in Mideast reportedly briefs Trump on options for striking Iran

Adm. Brad Cooper, who commands US forces in the Middle East, briefed President Donald Trump on Thursday about possible military options against Iran, a source close to Trump tells ABC News.

A second source says that Gen. Dan Caine, who as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the American president’s top military adviser, also took part in the briefing.
