Donald Trump launches a defiant assault on US media after news outlets publish accusations by several women that he sexually assaulted them, with the Republican presidential nominee insisting the incidents never happened.

“These vicious claims about me of inappropriate conduct with women are totally and absolutely false. And the Clintons know it,” Trump tells a rally in West Palm Beach, as he assails Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for being complicit.
“These attacks are orchestrated by the Clintons and their media allies,” he says.
Trump, who trails Clinton in national polls with just 26 days before the election, says there is “evidence to dispute these lies” and that he is preparing a lawsuit against The New York Times, which published the accounts of two women who accused Trump of groping and kissing them years ago.
