Zelensky warns Ukraine’s blockaded grain stocks could triple by the fall
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleKYIV, Ukraine — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that the volume of grain Ukraine is unable to export because of a Russian blockade could at least triple by the fall.
“Right now we have about 20-25 million tons blocked. In the autumn that could be 70-75 million tons,” says Zelensky, whose country was the world’s fourth biggest grain exporter before the war.
