Private Agam ‘Gigi’ Berger, 20, was taken captive by Hamas terrorists on October 7 as they launched an attack on the Nahal Oz army base.

She only had time that morning to call her father, Shlomi, and tell him there were shots being fired on base.

Berger was later identified in a Hamas Telegram video, in which she is seen being led to a car, still dressed in her pajamas.

It was her first weekend spent on the Nahal Oz base, where Berger was serving as a communications lookout.

Berger is known as a talented violinist who’s been playing since the fourth grade.

She has a twin sister, Li-Yam and another younger sister and brother, Bar and Ilai and the family lives in Holon.

Agam graduated from the Kiryat Sharet school in Holon, which saw 10 of its graduates killed on October 7.
