The hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a mother and two of her children at the beginning of the week turned himself in to Beersheba police Wednesday.
Police launched a widespread search for the man, a resident of the city, after a two-car smash on Saturday night. Diklah Cohen, 32, her daughter Idit, 4, and her son Eliad, 2, were all seriously injured in the incident and another man was lightly hurt.
Paramedics called to the scene administered first aid to the injured before all four were hospitalized for their injuries. The mother and her two children were reported as having multiple injuries.
The other driver leaped from the car and ran off on foot.
