A 35-year-old man died Monday morning after he suffered multiple bee stings while engaged in agricultural work.
The incident occurred in a field near Moshav Sde Moshe, in the Kiryat Gat area in southern Israel.
The victim encountered a swarm and suffered stings over his entire body.
The man was taken by private vehicle to an emergency room, but the paramedics were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead.
“The man developed an allergic reaction and lost consciousness. The deterioration was fast and within minutes he stopped breathing and had no pulse,” a Magen David Adom paramedic who treated the victim said.

Various advanced procedures were attempted to resuscitate the victim, to no avail.
A allergy expert interviewed by the news site Ynet said that the best way to save a bee sting victim who is allergic is to inject a shot of pure adrenaline, which some people, who know they are allergic, carry with them at all times.
The name of the victim has yet to be released, but according to Magen David Adom, the man was an agricultural worker from the Bedouin town of Rahat, Channel 10 reported.
