A woman was killed and three were injured in Kiryat Ata after a man apparently stabbed his mother, his girlfriend and two others while attempting to flee the scene.
The suspected stabber’s mother died from her wounds after being rushed to Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center.
The 25-year-old was arrested after a short chase in which a police helicopter took part.
After stabbing his mother, the suspect reportedly attacked his girlfriend, moderately injuring her, and then fled the house in his car.
He then allegedly hit another vehicle on Moshe Sharett Street, and stabbed the driver as well as another man before fleeing the scene by foot. Both victims were moderately injured.
