Palestinian woman reported shot by Israeli troops
IDF says it has no knowledge of the incident and is investigating
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA 42-year-old woman in Gaza was shot and seriously injured by IDF gunfire Wednesday morning, Palestinian sources reported.
Israeli military sources said that an initial investigation revealed no information of any such incident.
Safiya Abu Mughesib was reportedly shot while farming in her fields east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

A spokesman for the Hamas-run Ministry of Health told AFP that the victim “was shot by several bullets, one of which hit her in the chest.” Reports indicated that she was brought to the hospital in critical condition.
