Ramle teenager in serious condition after shooting
Victim was defending father’s convenience store from gun-wielding thieves
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Ramle teenager,15, was shot in the neck and chest while working at his father’s convenience store at around midnight on Saturday night.
According to a Maariv report, the teenager was shot several times at point-blank range after he resisted a robbery attempt at the store by a group of masked men.
The robbers fled the scene empty-handed, according to police.
He was treated at the scene by Magen David Adom and transferred to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in serious condition.
Ramle police set up a roadblock in an attempt to catch the perpetrators, and are questioning a co-worker at the store, who was an eyewitness to the shooting.
