Thousands participate in Tel Aviv’s night run
Annual event held under heavy police guard; 35-year-old man hospitalized in serious condition with heatstroke
Around 20,000 people took part in Tel Aviv’s annual night run on Tuesday evening, held under heavy police presence due to the volatile security situation.
A 35-year-old man participating in the race was hospitalized in serious condition suffering from heatstroke.
Thirty-five people were treated by medics during the event for various issues. Four of them were taken to hospital.
The race led to many of the city’s central streets being closed off to traffic for several hours.
