Train derails after crashing into car

No one injured in accident south of Beersheba

A passenger train derailed south of Beersheba Wednesday evening after colliding with a car. No one was injured in the accident.

Initial police reports said that the car had attempted to cross the train tracks illegally, in an unapproved rail crossing.

Train service on the line was briefly suspended.
