Video shows Syrian troops defiling dead rebels
Assad’s men mockingly ask the slain, “you want a revolution?”

A video uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday evening showed what appeared to be Syrian soldiers kicking and mocking the dead bodies of Syrians they had killed. The authenticity of the video has not yet been confirmed.
A squad of soldiers wearing Syrian army uniforms with Syrian flags on them are accompanied by a tank and an armored personnel carrier. On the ground beside the vehicles are three corpses dressed in civilian clothing. The soldier holding the camera kicks two of them in the jaw in succession while taunting the dead.
“You want a revolution, you son of a b****?” he jeers repeatedly.
It is not clear from the video whether the dead men are rebels or civilians, for they do not appear to be armed.
A UN-Arab League ceasefire went into effect last Thursday. Although the UN sent observers earlier this week, dozens of civilians have been killed, and the fighting between President Bashar Assad’s forces and rebels has not relented.
