Chairman of joint chiefs of staff, who is in Israel for a military innovation conference, lays a wreath at Holocaust museum in Jerusalem

Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley visited Yad Vashem Friday with Israel Defense Forces chief Aviv Kohavi.
Milley is in Israel to attend the first International Operational Innovation Conference in Israel.
The summit seeks to share knowledge between armies on “shared future challenges on the modern battlefield.”
At Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem, Milley laid a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance.
Yad Vashem chairman Dani Dayan said Milley’s visit was “lengthy and rigorous.”
Thursday saw United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visit the Holocaust memorial museum — a first visit by the top Emirati diplomat.
