2 foreign workers confirmed dead in mortar attack – medics
The Magen David Adom ambulance service confirms that a second person injured in the recent mortar fire on Israeli communities outside Gaza has died of his wounds.
Both of the men killed are foreign nationals in their 30s, medics say.
Another seven foreign workers were injured in the attack, including one person in serious condition and another who was moderately wounded. The other five sustained light injuries, according to MDA.
The seven were all taken to Beersheba’s Soroka Medical Center for treatment in ambulances and helicopters, the medics say.
