3 more arrested over Haredi mob’s break-in at Beit Shemesh police station compound last week

Police have arrested three more suspects in last week’s break-in at a Beit Shemesh police station compound by a Haredi mob.
Overnight, officers raided the homes of the three suspects, Beit Shemesh residents aged 26, 46 and 56.
The three men are the main suspects in the break-in, which saw dozens of rioters protesting the arrest of an alleged draft dodger breach one of the gates to the compound.
The mob committed acts of vandalism, blocked nearby traffic routes and set fires, burning trees and other vegetation, police say.
They will appear today in court, where police will seek to extend their detention.
