Five Palestinian children ages 10 to 12 have been detained by the Israeli army near the Havat Maon settlement in the South Hebron Hills, the B’Tselem rights group reports.
The children were taken to the Kiryat Arba police station, the rights group says. According to B’Tselem, the children were gathering wild vegetables when settlers called the army to detain them.
The Israeli military does not respond to a request for comment.
