Army now openly increasing presence in north

The IDF is increasing its presence along the northern border of Israel. The military says residents of northern communities will see increased movement of military vehicles on roads and inside communities.

Some soldiers have been deployed inside or around communities, and are intended to intercept any enemy attempts at infiltrating the communities.
