Biden: All-out war in Mideast can be avoided, ‘we’re going to help Israel’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Joe Biden says he thinks all-out war in the Mideast can be avoided.
Asked how confident he is that such a war can be averted, he pauses and tells reporters: “How confident are you it’s not going to rain? Look, I don’t believe there is going to be an all-out war. I think we can avoid it.”
Speaking as he arrives back to the White House from a trip to areas damaged by Hurricane Helene, he adds: “But there is a lot to do yet, a lot to do yet.”
He adds that “We’re going to help Israel.”
