Border Police call up hundreds of reservists amid terror wave
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHundreds of Border Police reservists are being called up as the current wave of unrest persists, after a week of almost daily stabbing attacks.
The officers will be deployed in and around Jerusalem starting Sunday, according to Ynet.
On Friday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan approved the call-up of three more Border Police companies. In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office said the call-ups would continue as necessary.
